The default re-circulation ballot to approve resolutions made to the Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers closed June 26, 2013; the deadline for comments for the second public review of this same document is July 29, 2013.
If a member of the balloting group does not plan to change his/her vote on a default recirculation ballot, it is not necessary to return the ballot. In this case, the vote will be counted as in the original ballot. This applies to both affirmative and negative votes.
Of the responses received −
two affirmative votes were received from balloting group members that did not previously vote, and
all of the original negative votes (six) changed to affirmative votes.
Ballots returned: 47 of 54 = 87%
Affirmative: 36 of 42 (returned less abstentions) = 86%
Ballots returned: 49 of 54 = 91%
Affirmative: 44 of 44 (returned less abstentions) = 100%
