The ballot to approve the changes to ASC Z136 Procedures to address the PINS documentation process, which was not in compliance with ANSI Essential Requirements closed last night, 11 January 2016. This action required the return of at least a majority of the Committee and approval by at least two-thirds of those voting, excluding abstentions.
Of 74 eligible votes, 53 votes were received (72%) making this a valid ballot. There were two abstentions, one for possible conflict of interest and the other agency required. The final vote after abstentions was unanimous approval.
