Explanation: Optical energy, optic fiber connection (pdf)
Clarification for two sections of Z136.1-2000; first is the words "Invisible Laser Radiation" required for near IR laser which have a visible component, but peak at 785 nm. Secondly, is a explanation of when a non-interlocked optic fiber connection is sufficient to reclassify a Class 3B laser as embedded in a Class 1 laser system.
